Uses of Entehep Tablet
Entehep which indicated to decrease quantity of hepatitis B virus.
In adult Entehep 1mg is used for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus infection with the indication of active viral reproduction and either evidence of persistent elevations in serum aminotransferases (ALT OR AST).
Its also used on clinical trial data in nucleoside inhibitor treatment for the HBeAg positive and HBeAg negative HBV infection.

How to use Entehep Tablet
Entehep tablets with lamivudine or known lamivudine or telbivudine resistance substitions rtM204I/V with or without rtL180M, rtL80I/V, or rtV173L with past history of hepatitis B viremia in adult and adolescents (at least 16 years of age) the prescribed dose is 1mg
Entehep given one tablet of 1mg once daily.
Entehep 1mg administrated on an empty stomach for atleast 2hrs after a meal or before the next meal.
Pediatric dose :
2 to 15 years for therapy new patients.
10 to 11 kg: 0.15 mg orally once a day
>11 to 14 kg: 0.2 mg orally once a day
>14 to 17 kg: 0.25 mg orally once a day
>17 to 20 kg: 0.3 mg orally once a day
>20 to 23 kg: 0.35 mg orally once a day
> 23 to 26 kg: 0.4 mg orally once a day
> 26 to 30 kg: 0.45 mg orally once a day
> 30 kg: 0.5 mg orally once a day.
Lamivudine experienced patient:
10 to 11 kg: 0.3 mg orally once a day
>11 to 14 kg: 0.4 mg orally once a day
>14 to 17 kg: 0.5 mg orally once a day
>17 to 20 kg: 0.6 mg orally once a day
>20 to 23 kg: 0.7 mg orally once a day
>23 to 26 kg: 0.8 mg orally once a day
>26 to 30 kg: 0.9 mg orally once a day
>30 kg: 1 mg orally once a day
OVERDOSAGE: If patients had single entecavir doses of 40mg or double dose of 20mg/day till 14days has no evidence of increase or any adverse effect. If overdose occurs then provide immediately supportive and symptomatic measurements such as vitals signs of toxicity of medicine

Entehep 1mg is belongs to the classification of antiviral drug and an nucleoside analogue show action against hepatitis B virus polymerase is effectively phosphorylated to the active triphosphate form, which require an intracellular half life of 15 hours.Enteheptablet combination with natural substances such as deoxyguanosine triphosphate functionally prevents all three activities of HBV reverse transcriptase:
