How to use Gefinat
Geftinat 250mgis a form of tablet which taken by mouth. It is administrated with or without food once a day.
Recommeded dose of adult is 250mg.Take gefitinat at same time every day.
Take Geftinat 250mgexactly as directed. Avoid taking more or less or consume based on doctor’s advice.
If patient is not able to swallow the tablets, tablet may dissolve them in water. Take one tablet in 120 to 240 ml of plain, noncarbonated drinking water. 15 minutes require until the tablet is dissolved and use spoon to stir it.
Drink the mixture immediately. Rinse the glass with another 4 to 8 ounces of water and drink the rinse water completely to be sure that you swallow all of the drug.
Doctor may delay or permanently stop the treatment if you feel certain side effects. Inform your doctor when you feel difference after taking medication.
OVERDOSAGE: Geftinat has no specific treatment for the overdose.an increase of dose frequency and severity of some adverse reaction was observed like diarrhea and skin rash.

METABOLISM: Geftinat 250mgmetabolized by hepatic via CYP3A4 and CYP2D6. It has major metabolites is o-desmethylgeftinib.
ELIMINATION: Geftinat 250mg eliminated through faeces (86%) and urine (<4%) and terminal half life is 41-48 hr.
